Degree Programme in AI for Business Transformation, Master of Business Administration (Erasmus Mundus European Joint Master's)

By bringing together expertise from three European universities, the programme offers a truly international study experience, combining different academic perspectives, practical applications and the opportunity to study in three countries. The programme also benefits from the cooperation of Université Côte d'Azur, the University of Genoa and MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®.

The programme has obtained the prestigious Erasmus Mundus status in 2026. 

Erasmus Mundus scholarships

A total of 50 Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available throughout the programme's six- year funding period. Each scholarship provides €1,400 per month for the full two-year programme. Scholarship holders are also exempt from tuition fees. 

EMJM scholarships are awarded based on the applicants’ performance in the entrance exam, taking into account the regional quotas determined by the EMJM regulations. 

 Application to the program includes the application to the scholarship, with the exception of applicants who have obtained an EMJM scholarship earlier. Students may be offered a full scholarship or a study place without financial aid from the EMJM.

An international learning journey across Europe

NavigAIte EU is your gateway to global career opportunities. The programme combines studies at three European universities: 

• First semester: Begin your studies at Haaga-Helia in Finland, exploring AI in Business. 

• Second semester: Continue your studies at Haaga-Helia, with courses jointly delivered by lecturers from Haaga-Helia, University of Seville, and Technical University of Košice. 

• Third semester: Choose your specialisation: AI Methods at the Technical University of Košice in Slovakia, or a transdisciplinary approach at the University of Seville in Spain. 

• Fourth semester: Cap off your journey by completing your Master's thesis and the remaining transversal studies at the other partner university. This ensures that all students gain international study experience in all three countries.

Study arrangements

The programme is a full-time degree programme requiring a significant commitment to studies. The studies are primarily delivered as daytime teaching on campus, although some sessions may also take place in the evenings or online.

Teaching arrangements and schedules vary by semester and study location, as students complete their studies at three different universities in Finland, Slovakia and Spain.

Combining business and AI expertise

The programme combines the complementary expertise of universities of applied sciences and research-oriented universities, bringing together theoretical knowledge, practical applications, research and innovation. Its interdisciplinary curriculum provides students with a comprehensive understanding of artificial intelligence and its applications in business.

Graduates gain the knowledge, skills and competences needed to plan, lead and implement AI-driven business transformation, identify valuable AI applications, support the adoption of AI technologies, and contribute to the development of ethical, responsible and sustainable AI products and services.

Graduates are prepared for a wide range of expert and leadership roles at the intersection of business and AI technologies. Career opportunities span a wide range of expert and leadership roles in companies, consulting, the public sector and research. Potential roles include AI Business Consultant, AI Strategist, Business Analyst, AI Specialist, AI Product Manager, Trustworthy AI Advisor, IT Consultant and AI Quality Control or Usability Expert.

The degree also provides opportunities for further studies, including doctoral studies and pedagogical studies for teachers at the consortium institutions, subject to their respective admission requirements.
